At Whelan, our managers set the standard for security within the organization, monitoring and evaluating security personnel on a regular basis through site visits, random inspections, management audits, and performance evaluations. In addition, our management team maintains daily contact with clients. This proactive management structure and established network of supervision assures the continuous delivery of quality service and unsurpassed responsiveness to our employees and customers.

Account Managers, Project Managers and Site Supervisors are dedicated to accounts and are critical to our success. These individuals manage our contract services specific to a single account.
Supporting our Account Managers and Client Service Managers, Field Supervisors are highly trained, senior personnel who regularly schedule unannounced inspections at all sites to ensure contractual compliance by the assigned security staff. In the event of an emergency, Field Supervisors are highly skilled in crisis management.
For those occasions where a regular security officer calls off for duty, Whelan provides a team of Special Response Officers (SRO) who are cross-trained at multiple sites and available to work any shift. Special Response Officers are a “notch above” standard security officers as a result of being assigned, on short notice, to many diverse posts. Most Special Response Officers come from our pool of supervisor and management candidates.
Client Service Managers are responsible for managing contract portfolios. They meet with the security staff assigned to specific facilities as well as client representatives on a regular basis to discuss the requirements of the account and overall security operation.
Whelan Security has a growing network of branch offices. The local branch management team is accessible at any time and accountable for overseeing recruitment, selection, hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and administration for the local branch. Local branch managers are obviously intimately familiar with local market conditions and can provide a proactive program and solutions specific to the market.
Similar to branch management and strategically located throughout our operating structure, our regional managers are readily available and accessible at any time.
The executive management team of Whelan Security is actively involved on a daily basis in all current contractual security operations. With primary responsibility for quality assurance, the executive management team is readily accessible and available to help regional managers, branch managers, account managers, and clients formulate strategies to fulfill required objectives and goals.
