Dear Jessica,

I just wanted to reiterate what an asset Brian Yamane (our security guard) is to your company, and how grateful I am to have him close by every day while I am working.

Two days ago when we smelled smoke in our office, Brian was here in a minute and never left until the situation was well under control. He made the phone calls, escalated as needed, and then made sure everyone was safe and attended to. He has continued this same behavior over the following days. He is always pleasant, smiling, and very professional.

This isn't the first time Brian has exceeded what we expected. He removed a solicitor from the building last week, and when she tried to seek refuge in our office he never let her out of his sight and made sure she was escorted from the building.

Months ago we had a client in our office that made me very nervous. He stayed close by and afterward explained how to alert him if I didn't feel comfortable or safe in the office. It is very reassuring to know he is only a few steps away and is keeping an eye on things in this building. And also, that if a situation arises, he is more than capable of handling it - impressive!

Hope you will let Brian know we really appreciate his diligence and competency!
