Employee Accolade // June 7, 2011

"Curt Lohman (St. Louis, MO)…was very observant…focused…courteous…and very professional…"

Mr. Grudzinski,

On June 2, 2011, I took a trip to Las Vegas, flying from St. Louis Lambert Airport's East Terminal. Stationed outside the terminal in the departing flights section was your employee, Curt Lohman. I had a few minutes to observe Curt while checking my baggage. He was very observant and focused on his job. He had to interact with a few people that were not in compliance with the unloading rules. He was firm, courteous, and very professional when dealing with these people and thanked them after they complied with his requests. I know that his job is a difficult one because there are so many people that feel that the rules don't apply to them or don't pay attention to signs or warnings. I am a retired Master Sergeant from the Illinois State Police and during my thirty year career, I have seen many officers that had difficulty dealing with the public without it resulting in a confrontation. I supervised officers that just come on too strong with people and let their position of authority go to their heads. I know as a supervisor, you have seen this too.

You have a valuable employee in Curt. He has all the qualities in dealing with this very important assignment and I would like to personally say that he handles his assignment very well.
