Employee Accolade // June 17, 2011
Gentlemen:
I was recently deployed by the American Red Cross to the Joplin Tornado recovery effort. On Monday, June 13, I had the opportunity to meet and work with two Whelan officers, both based (I believe) in Springfield, MO. They are Justin Waite and James Hoskins and both were assigned to the Red Cross operations center. I have been in various aspects of emergency services for the past thirty-five (35) years, including in the private security sector. As a result of my experience, I know how difficult it can be to maintain one's sanity in the face of disaster. These officers not only maintained their sanity, but they were able to keep a sense of proportion. They maintained calm, professional demeanors and handled the various problems that arose promptly and professionally.
They are both excellent representatives for your company; and you are fortunate to have them.
