Employee Accolade // June 28, 2011
To Whelan Security,
I would like to inform you of an outstanding job that was conducted by the following Whelan Officers (Supervisor Jim Roberts, Supervisor Billy Benavides, Security Officer Marsh Van Hook, Security Officer Michael Bell, Security Officer Penny Rhea) while on duty during the early hours of Tuesday, June 28, 2011.
During the early morning hours of Tuesday June 28, 2011, the above officers were observant by noticing a local contractor company van on company premises during an unusual time and at an unusual place. At that time, the vehicle and its occupants were observed near a scrap metal dumpster. The van was seen minutes later traveling at a high rate of speed away from the location. The van and its occupants lost control flipping on its side. The occupants were observed fleeing the scene by Whelan officers and the information along with descriptions were provided to the local authorities.
Due to the proactive approach and alertness of the Whelan officers, we were able to recover several sheets of stolen steel grid at an undetermined value.
Thank you for your support.
