To whom it may concern:

I represent the St. Clair County Transit District and have spent the summer managing the Redbird Express buses that serve the St. Louis Cardinals home baseball games. This has been a very successful summer for our bus service, and we have had 12-18 buses parked on 7th Street north of Clark for most of the season. We have over 100,000 passengers each season for the Cardinal Games. It has been our pleasure to have Tom Poitter working out on Clark Street at Busch Stadium this season. Tom assists everyone while performing his duties as a Whelan security officer at the stadium. With the number of pedestrians and cars converging on Clark and 8th Streets, Tom has been instrumental in creating a safe environment for all of us. He always seems to be helping someone out whether it is a stadium employee who needs a ride, fans who need information, or a bus trying to make its way safely though the intersection. Remarkably even though there are numerous police officers all over that intersection, it is Tom who regularly steps up and guides vehicles and pedestrians safely around each other.

I just wanted you to know that Tom has been an exceptional aid to everyone who has the occasion to be around the stadium...We really appreciate everything he has done to make this a safe season for all of us. You have an exceptional employee there!
