St. Louis - Whelan Security Company, Inc., headquartered in St. Louis, recently announced that it has introduced avatar-based training to its E-Learning Center. Through the use of avatars in newly released training modules, participants now interact almost as if they were in a real classroom, and it is this high degree of student engagement that distinguishes these new training opportunities from traditional, two-dimensional e-learning modules.
Available only to employees of Whelan Security, the proprietary courseware in Whelan's E-Learning Center covers a myriad of topics and combines high quality content with the dynamic delivery and flexibility proven to address a number of training challenges. Courses are available to employees 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and are delivered in a highly effective web-based format providing e-learning opportunities that are relevant, immediate, convenient, effective, and results-oriented.
At Whelan Security, virtual and classroom training modules and opportunities are continuously updated and modified in an effort to accommodate the variety of industries we serve and the changing needs of our customers.
"The response to our E-Learning Center continues to prove that security officers are starved for professional training opportunities, and our security officers appreciate the convenience and flexibility of the professional development opportunities available on-demand through our industry-leading E-Learning Center," said David Justice, Vice President, South-Central Region.
