Whelan Security Announces Expansion Into Detroit, Michigan

St. Louis - Whelan Security Co., headquartered in St. Louis, has announced an expansion into Detroit, Michigan. With this announcement, Whelan Security will immediately begin managing local security operations in the Detroit area for an international automobile manufacturer.

“Like most of our previous geographic expansion opportunities, our expansion into Detroit is a natural extension of a national agreement we have with a valued and prestigious customer,” said Prentice Robertson, Executive Vice President of Whelan. “Detroit offers us a tremendous opportunity. The expansion into the Detroit market is part of Whelan Security’s strategic growth plan that is concentrated throughout the Central and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.
