St. Louis - Whelan Security Company, Inc., based in St. Louis, has announced that Steve Lisle has joined the company as Vice President - Sales, Marketing & Customer Service for the North-Central region. In this role, he will be responsible for business development, quality assurance, and customer service throughout the North-Central region which currently includes Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan.
Lisle brings more than ten (10) years of successful industry experience to Whelan Security. A graduate of Iowa State University, he started his career as a consultant working for Wells Fargo Guard Services in Des Moines, Iowa. Due to early success in that position, he was quickly promoted to a regional role covering Nebraska, South Dakota, and Western Illinois where he represented the brands of Borg-Warner Services (Burns International and Wells Fargo Guard Services). In 1998, Lisle was relocated to Minneapolis as an Area Business Development Manager where he represented Burns, Pinkerton, and ultimately Securitas servicing Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Iowa. During these years, he earned multiple "Winners Circle" and "Gold Club" awards and was the #1 ranked producer (Business Development Manager) at the world's largest security corporation. In 2005, he was recruited away from the industry by CBS Personnel - Venturi Staffing Partners, a $500 million human resource and professional placement service where he managed a team of sales professionals in multiple states throughout the Midwest.
Lisle is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and the International Association for Healthcare Security Services (IAHSS).
"We are very excited to announce the addition of Steve Lisle to our team," said Prentice Robertson, Executive Vice President. "We are confident that he is going to add significant and immediate value to our organization. Steve Lisle and Pat Smith (Vice President - Operations and Customer Service for the North-Central region) are two well-respected leaders within our industry. As a result of their leadership, we anticipate significant growth throughout the North-Central region in 2008."
